PricePassport is a community of price hunters sharing real prices from shelves worldwide. To keep it safe and legal for everyone, please read the rules below.
1. People & portrait rights
Photograph products and price tags only — never other people’s faces. Shelf items carry no portrait rights, so this keeps your photos lawful.
2. Trademarks
Brand logos on packaging appear for descriptive ("nominative") use only — you are reporting a price, not endorsing a brand. Do not crop logos to use as your own artwork.
3. Store rules
Some shops discourage in-store photos. If staff ask you to stop, please comply. Photographing an item you are buying causes the least friction.
4. Privacy
We only store city-level location, never your exact address. We comply with GDPR / CCPA — you may request deletion of your data at any time.
5. Content safety
No receipts (may contain card numbers), no faces, no POS terminals. Price tags and barcodes are fine — they are factual information.
6. Badges & rewards
Badges and surprise rewards are free, non-monetary, and use fixed, published probabilities. They are not gambling and cannot be bought.
7. Disclaimer
Prices are user-contributed estimates and may vary by store, time, and promotions. They are not financial or purchasing advice.
8. Reporting
Found a wrong or harmful card? Report it and our moderators will review it. Repeat trustworthy contributors earn moderation rights.
